Abstract: The inhibition of the corrosion of mild steel in
hydrochloric acid solutions by Aloe vera gel has been
studied using weight loss method. Inhibition was found to
increase with increasing inhibitor concentration and
temperature. The results obtained show that Aloe vera gel
could serve as an effective and non-toxic inhibitor of the
corrosion of mild steel in hydrochloric acid solution.
