Abstract:
The
TG and DTA study of the complexes [(K+ÌH1-22-1H)I-]
(1),
[(Na+ÌH1-22-1H)I-]
(2),
[(2K+ÌH1-22-1H)2I-.H2O]
(3)
and [(2Na+ÌH1-22-1H)2I-.H2O]

was carried out under a dynamic air atmosphere. The kinetics of the
each step of thermal decomposition were evaluated from the dynamic
weight loss data by means of Coats-Redfern, MacCallum-Tanner,
Madhusudanan-Krishnan-Ninan (by approximation and series solution) and
van Krevelen methods. The Dn , Rn
and An models were selected as the models best
fitting the experimental TG curves. The values of activation energy,
E, and frequency factor, A, of the thermal decomposition
were calculated.
