Abstract:
From INDO calculations, it has been found that the electron affinity
of paracetamol is higher than those of the nucleic acid bases
therefore paracetamol molecule may withdraw an electron from one of
the nucleic acid bases in the humanbeing cell to form charge transfer
complex to render the cell behaves abnormally which is known as
cancer. Extending our work to involve caffeine, it has been concluded
that the energy of electron transfer with paracetamol is lower than
the energies of electron transfer with the nucleic acid bases in the
humanbeing cell. Therefore it can be advised to drink one cup of
coffee in the morning to avoid cancer because the caffeine molecules
protect the humanbeing cell from any electron transfer with any cancer
suspecting agents.
